The King County Library System invites patrons to celebrate Pride month

The King County Library System (KCLS) invites patrons to celebrate Pride month in June with reading recommendations and special events.

Patrons may learn more about LGBTQ+ history, culture and stories through reading lists which include a variety of fiction and nonfiction titles.

Residents are also invited to attend a number of all-ages Pride events throughout the month, from art workshops and musical performances to book clubs and trivia events. Find the full list of activities at kcls.org/prideevents.

“KCLS is committed to welcoming, supporting and celebrating LGBTQ+ patrons, staff and communities during Pride month and all year long,” stated KCLS Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director Dominica Myers.
