Events
The next series of workshops will be offered in-person at the Kent Library. Fall sessions will be held on Fridays from 1pm to 2:30pm from September 29 to November 17.

About Fiestas

Fiestas are Early Literacy Parties in Spanish. Fiestas help children and their families to get ready for school.

Workshops are free.

You do not need to register but space is limited. Fiestas workshops are first come, first served and are very popular, so please arrive early.

At each Fiesta you will learn new songs, reading techniques and do craft activities.
In addition, each family will receive a free children's book in Spanish for each Fiesta they attend.

Each week, we will have songs, Story Times, and craft activities about a different topic.
- Week 1: The importance of bilingualism
- Week 2: Speaking
- Week 3: Playing
- Week 4: Singing
- Week 5: Letters and sounds
- Week 6: Reading
- Week 7: The school system in the United States
- Week 8: Writing
