Renton Library wins award

The library was recognized with an Award of Honor by the American Institute of Architects.

The downtown Renton Library was recognized with an Award of Honor by the American Institute of Architects.

Out of 133 submissions, the Renton location was one of four honored.

This is the library’s second AIA award. The library won in 2016 for the renovation.

In 2016, the library also won a Governor’s Smart Communities Award for the partnership between the city and the King County Library System.
