Way Up High In the Apple Tree

Way up high, in a tree (point up)
Two little apples looking down at me (two fists up in the air)
So I shook that tree as hard as I could (two fists shake 'trunk')
Down fell the apples (fists fall to ground)
Mmmm! Were they good!(rub tummy)
Variation 1:
Way up high in the apple tree
Two lttle apples smiled at me
I shook that tree as hard as I could
Down fell the apples
Mmmm they were good
Variation 2:
Way up high, in a tree (point up)
One little baby looking down at me (raise baby up high)
So I shook that baby, gently as I could (rock baby gently up high)
And down fell that baby (lower baby slowly to ground)
Mmmm!  Was he (she) good!  (nibble neck or fingers)
Variation 3: Use flannel apples with different emotional expressions
Way up high, in the apple tree (point up)
Two happy apples were smiling at me (two fists up in the air) 
I shook that tree as hard as I could (two fists shake 'trunk')
Down fell the apples (fists fall to ground)
Mmmm! Were they good! (rub tummy)
