King County Library System (KCLS) has released its Best Books of 2020. The annual list reveals KCLS’ top 100 books of the year, and includes 25 titles in each of the following categories: fiction, nonfiction, children and teen.
TheBest Books are selected by KCLS librarians and staff members who, collectively, read thousands of books each year. Once nominations have been received, and votes are tabulated, KCLS Readers' Services Program Coordinator Emily Calkins finalizes the lists.
"This year's list reflects King County's diversity” stated Calkins. “It includes authors from a wide range of backgrounds, writing all kinds of different stories, both fictional and true."
