Here's what to expect during the closures:
- The interior building will be closed. Meeting rooms, computer reservations, and printing services will be unavailable.
- Events and programs will not be available.
- The exterior book drop will remain open for returns.
- Wi-Fi will remain on.
- Lockers will remain open at these locations for 24/7 hold pickup.
- Holds and due dates will be extended by one day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are the libraries closed on certain days in October?
We are conducting a series of regional retreats for community library staff. These retreats are designed for:
- team building,
- system-level training, and
- local training and discussion.
Each region will have its retreat on a specific day. During retreat days, libraries in that region will be closed to the public.
When will the libraries be closed?
The closures will occur on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in October, from 12-8pm. (Bellevue and Crossroads will be closed from 11am-8pm.) Check the schedule above to find out when your library will be closed.
Will I still be able to return books during the closures?
Yes, all locations will have their normal outside book return options available.
Will public Wi-Fi be available during the closures?
Yes, public Wi-Fi will still be available outside the libraries.
What services will be unavailable during the closures?
Any services that require access to the building interiors will be unavailable. Such as meeting/study rooms, programs, and computers.
What happens to my holds during the closures?
Holds will be extended for the day, so you won’t miss out on picking up your items.
