Cool Off at an Air-Conditioned Library

An Excessive Heat Warning has been issued through Saturday evening. Temperatures are expected to reach 100 degrees or higher in some parts of King County. All of our libraries are air-conditioned cooling shelters. Find a library where you can cool off during the high heat.

Use our location finder map to find a nearby library and open hours. Everyone is welcome. We will not ask for your personal information or ID.

Water fountains will be available. Please ask staff for help if the water fountain is not available at your library.

Health and safety rules are still in place. Find out what to expect during your visit.
