Meet the Artists
barry johnson
barry johnson is a visual artist from Washington. He focuses on figure and space to showcase Black representation. His award-winning work promotes social change and exhibits nationwide. barry's yearly studio practice and public artworks highlight underrepresented voices. They spark important conversations.

Bethany Fackrell
Bethany Fackrell is a Snoqualmie tribal member and a Navy veteran. She shares her cultural heritage through her artwork, using traditional Salish patterns in contemporary storytelling style. Her work includes murals, public signage, digital graphics, and logos. Bethany has done work for the NHL Kraken, Microsoft Xbox, and more.

Don Clark / Invisible Creature
Don Clark is a co-founder of Invisible Creature. He has designed for well-known brands like USPS, NASA, and Pixar. He and his brother have crafted album art for top artists and earned four Grammy nominations. Don also serves as the art director for Canlis restaurant in Seattle.

Hernan Paganini
Hernan Paganini is an Argentinian born multi-disciplinary artist and teacher that lives and works in Seattle. He has been exhibiting and creating large scale Site-Specific Public Artworks internationally. His diverse portfolio consists of participatory installations, paintings, drawings, sculptures, assemblage and music. It connects communities around the globe throughout his nomadic school project Viaje En Barco.

Marisol Ortega
Marisol Ortega is a first-generation Mexican-American. She works as a designer, illustrator, and letterer in the PNW. She is best known for her lively illustrations of plants and animals. They feature texture, linework, bold colors, and organic shapes. These elements reflect her cultural exploration. She draws inspiration from Michoacán, Mexico.

Stacy Nguyen
Stacy Nguyen (she/her/hers) is a Vietnamese American artist, designer, and writer. She explores race, gender, and popular culture. Her work centers on women and femininity. Stacy runs Stacy Nguyen Creative, serving BIPOC-led organizations focused on equity and justice. Her art challenges stereotypes and celebrates cultural specificity.

Stevie Shao
Stevie Shao is an illustrator and muralist from Seattle. She draws inspiration from the plants and animals of the Pacific Northwest. She also finds it in traditional folk art. She has worked with clients like REI, Google, and Sub Pop Records. Together, they have created colorful murals across the country. Stevie champions environmental stewardship, racial justice, and preserving historic community roots.
