Why isn’t the book return open at my library?

Curbside pickup needs a lot of staff and a lot of space to work well. We don't have enough staff and space at some locations to open every location for returns.

All libraries will open for visits in July. We will end Curbside to Go as library buildings reopen. Book returns will reopen as buildings reopen for visits. Some locations may reopen or expand their hours earlier if they are able to. Find out what to expect with this change.

Book returns are open 24/7 at almost all libraries. A few locations remain closed, or have limited hours for returns.

Bothell is not open for 24/7 returns yet. The book drop and Self-Check-in station are open limited hours. The Self-Check-in station is closed on Sundays or Mondays. We're working to fix a technical issue so we can keep it open for returns 24/7. Check Bothell's library location page for current hours.

Book drops at Crossroads and Kenmore are still closed until further notice. No services are available at either of those locations right now.

If the book return at your local library is not open yet, please return items at another nearby location.
