Between brothers and sisters (English Translation)
Understanding of the sacred covenant between the brother and the sister in Samoa in the past.

In ancient days, the High Chief’s daughter is well respected by everyone, because their building is right next to the High Chief’s.

Because Samoa is all about respect and mutual boundaries.
Nowadays, the brother is ignorant of his sacred covenant between him and the sister.
There is no more mutual respect between the brother and the sister.
We should teach our children the traditional way.
A lot of the children are not doing their duties. Back in the days, once the crickets chirping it is time to go inside the house.
During evening prayers, everybody is present. But nowadays, there’s no more evening prayers. Who’s to blame? Noone else, but us parents.
On the contrary, the parents are doing their duties but because of modern influences and the sciptures talk about “The different generations bringing their own culture”
Nowadays the children disobey their parents despite the parents doing their duties.
Nonetheless the Samoan culture is beautiful. Compared to the old days, it is rare to see the old traditional ways including the scared covenant between the parents and their children and vice versa.
Especially, the sacred covenant between the brother and the sister and vice versa.
