One little turtle all alone and new
Soon it finds a friend and now there are two.
Two little turtles crawl down to the sea
Soon they find another and now there are three.
Three little turtles creep along the shore
Soon they find another and now there are four.
Four little turtles go for a dive
Along swims another and now there are five!
