I saw a little rabbit go hop, hop, hop. (make rabbit ears with 2 fingers & hop on arm)
I saw his long ears go flop, flop, flop.(bend fingers when say “flop”)
I saw his little nose go twink, twink, twink.(point to nose)
I saw his little eyes go blink, blink, blink.(point to eyes)
I said, “Little rabbit won’t you stay?”
But he looked at me and hopped away! (hop fingers on arm again)
Variation 1:
I saw a little bunny go hop, hop, hop. (hop in place)
I saw his little ears go flop, flop, flop (wobble hands by side of head)
I saw his little eyes go twink, twink, twink (blink eyes)
I saw his little nose go wink, wink, wink (wiggle nose)
I said, "Little bunny, won't you stay?" (beckon with hand)
He looked at me, and he hopped away! (hop in place)
Variation 2:
Once I saw a little bunny go hop, hop, hop (hop)
His soft little ears went flop, flop, flop (flop bunny ears on head)
I said, "Little bunny, oh, please won't you stay?" (plead with hands clasped)
But he twitched his little nose, and he hopped away! (wiggle nose, and hop)
Variation 3:
Once I saw a little bird go hop, hop, hop! (hop)
I said, "Little bird, won't you stop, stop, stop?" (stop signal with hands)
I went to the window, to say, "How do you do?" (make pretend window with arms, and walk)
But he shook his little tail, and away he flew! (shake 'tail' and flap arms)
