Garden Song

Early Learning Garden Song
By
Nancy Stewart, opens a new window
Plants and trees, rocks and stones,
we have a garden all our own
A place to take a walk and roam, see
the magic all around
Built from dreams with loving hands,
built with hearts that understand
Plant a letter, you plant the seed,
to hold the knowledge in your hand.
Take a walk and you will see
all the letters that you’ll need
To grown the words and plant the seeds
Of a young and growing mind
An old crow watching from a tree
has his curious eyes on me.
He doesn’t know what magic lives
in the letters that we see.
And if you stop along the way,
you’ll see a place to dance or play
Hear a story or sing a song,
hear the birds all sing along
Letters blowin’ in the breeze
show the animals you can see.
Stop and sit beneath the trees,
we’ll share a book together and read.
