Five Little Shamrocks

Five little shamrocks hopping through the door,
One chased a leprechaun and then there were four.

Four little shamrocks swinging in a tree,
One tumbled down and then there were three.

Three little shamrocks heard an owl hoot, "WHOO!"
One ran away scared and then there were two.

Two little shamrocks having a little fun,
But one had to go home to mother and then there was only one.

One little shamrock left, left alone to say,
"I'm going to do a little jig.  Happy St. Patrick's Day!"

Here's a different version to try:

Five little shamrocks were growing on the ground.
Along came a leprechaun, he didn't make a sound.
He picked a little shamrock,
He jumped up in a tree,
He put it in his pocket,
And he slapped his knees (slap, slap, slap)
And he clapped his hands (clap, clap, clap)
And he stomped his feet (stomp, stomp, stomp)
And he said, "This will bring good luck to me!"
