This is the fairies' wash day
with acorn cups for tubs (cup hands)
and tiny leaves for washboards (show palms)
each fairy rubs and rubs (scrubbing motion)
The fairy sheets so white and fine
upon the grass are lying (motion of spreading)
The spider spins a line for them (roll hands)
And now the clothes are drying (stretch imaginary string)
