Come Under My Umbrella

Tune:Did You Ever See a Lassie?
Come under my umbrella, umbrella, umbrella (arch arms over head like umbrella)
Come under my umbrella, it's starting to rain. (wiggle fingers as hands descend)
With thunder and lightning,(clap on thunder, then open fists & spread fingers for lightning)*
And thunder and lightning.
Come under my umbrella, it's starting to rain. (arch arms over head wiggle fingers as hands descend)

* alternate action: pound hands on floor for thunder, throw arms up in air for lightning flash

Version two: 'With thunder and lightning, and wind and rain
Use a parachute: have children and parents hold onto the edges, and move up and down in the shape of a parachute. Shake sideways for 'lightning and thunder, etc', then pull way up high on last verse, and have children scoot underneath the parachute as parents tuck it down around them. Everyone giggles!
