Tax Help, Forms, and Information at Your Library

Save time and take the guesswork out of filing your taxes this tax season with free tax help, forms, and information at your library.

Get free tax help from trained volunteers.

Ask questions and get one-on-one help with your taxes from AARP or United Way volunteers. Some tax help sessions are drop-in while other sessions are by appointment only. Visit the tax help schedule for complete details, including a list of documents to bring to your session.

Pick up and print tax forms and publications at your library.

The IRS will send a limited supply of tax forms to KCLS libraries. Each library will also receive a set of reproducible forms and a copy of Publication 17 for use in the library. Find out how to check the shipping status of forms being sent to libraries.

Print tax forms and publications for free using your library card.

You may print any form and instructions from the IRS website at any KCLS library for free using your library card's weekly printing allowance.
