History

  • 1946: Snoqualmie's first library opens in a room above the fire station at the old Town Hall
  • 1956: Library opens in a shared city hall and fire station facility at the corner of NW First Street and Fifth Avenue NW
  • 1975: New, 2,100-square-foot library opens, funded by a bond issue and an $8,000 donation from Weyerhaeuser
  • 2007: Opening of a new, 6,000-square-foot Snoqualmie Library
