- 1942: North Bend Study Club begins town library discussions
- 1946: First library opens with contracted services from KCLS
- 1948: Library moves into the old high school's former home economics dining room
1958: North Bend Study Club opens a larger library on land donated by George and Donna Gaines - 1979: Expansion of library with addition of old museum building
- 1988: KCLS annexation
- 1994: Opening of new, 9,600-square-foot North Bend Library
- 2008: Completion of interior improvements
