History
- 1922: Parent-Teachers Association and Pre-School Circle raise funds for a library
- 1923: Enumclaw's first library opens in City Hall
- 1928: Library moves into a home bequeathed by Mary Fell Stevenson Yerxa at the corner of Myrtle and Wells
- 1953: House is razed and replaced by a concrete block building
- 1954: Opening of 5,000-square-foot library, largely funded by a $20,000 bond issue.
- 1963: Scholtfeldt Family Pioneer Room addition is completed
- 1983: New library is incorporated into the Town Center plan at the Burlington Northern right-of-way
- 1987: Richard R. Lafromboise Memorial Fund is established
- 1990: Groundbreaking for a new 10,000-square-foot library, funded by a bond issue
- 1991: Opening of the current Enumclaw Library building
- 2012: Annexed to KCLS
