3D Printers
Available for independent learning and exploration, staff assistance available at Bellevue or Federal Way Makerspaces. We have two Prusa Core One printers with .4mm nozzles. We print using 1.75mm PLA filament in a variety of colors.
- Print jobs must be complete by the end of your reservation window.
- You can bring in 3D files such as .stl or .obj and prepare them for printing using library laptops configured for 3D printing. Or, you can prepare the files at home and bring in the G-code file to print.
- Patrons 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Prepare your files for printing
Download PrusaSlicer, opens a new window to prepare files for our 3D printers. Different printers need different settings, so be sure you slice for the correct printer. We also have library laptops configured for 3D printing you can check-out for in-library use.
CoreOne
- Build Volume: 250 x 220 x 270 mm | 9.8 x 8.6 x 10.6 in
- Default slicing settings for CoreOne:
- Print settings: .20mm SPEED
- Filament: Generic PLA
- Printer: Original Prusa CORE One HF0.4 nozzle
- Save the G-code to a USB drive.
