Governor Jay and First Lady Trudi Inslee stopped by the Tukwila Library's vaccine clinic today, March 1. The King County Library System (KCLS) and Public Health—Seattle & King County have partnered to provide free coronavirus vaccines at the Auburn, Enumclaw, Federal Way and Tukwila Libraries.
“It’s always a great morning when I get to talk to people serving their communities,” stated Gov. Jay Inslee. “Today in Tukwila, I met someone who was getting their very first dose and was so thankful to have it accessible through the King County Library System. Together we are still saving lives.”
"As a trusted source of information and assistance, KCLS is committed to connecting community members to important resources,” stated KCLS Executive Director Lisa Rosenblum. “We are proud to partner with Public Health to provide an easy and convenient way to receive the vaccine, and we are pleased to see Gov. Inslee's show of support today at the Tukwila Library!”
Public Health—Seattle & King County and their affiliates are administering the vaccines at no cost, regardless of insurance, citizenship or immigration status. Single, two-dose and booster shots are available for anyone ages five and older. Medical staff and interpreter services are on-site to answer questions. Today's vaccines were administered by Discovery Health MD.
Vaccine clinic days and times vary by location. Visit kcls.org/vaccinated for more information.
