Why did I get an “active card needed” error when I tried to reserve museum passes?

You might get this error if you have reached the maximum number of checkouts on your card (100 items for Full-Access Cards, 2 items for Visitor Cards).

If you have 100 items checked out on your Full-Access Card or 2 items checked out on your Visitor Card you won't be able to reserve a museum pass online (you will get an "active card needed" error message). Cardholders who have the maximum number of items checked out may call Bellevue Library staff for help reserving a pass at (425) 450-1765.

If you get this error and do not have the maximum number of items checked out on your card, please contact staff for help with your account.
