Livin’ Large, the Tiny Way

Cozy tiny house with a welcoming porch and lights on inside casting a warm glow in the eveningAs housing costs soar in the Seattle Metro area, many locals are scratching their heads and asking how to stay afloat in our inflated market. Average rental prices are jumping every month and for most of us living on a fixed budget, the unknown of "how much will I need to pay to keep the roof over my head?" becomes a serious question. We need to find ways to fit a growing population into an already densely populated area. Enter the concept of the tiny house. These are scaled down homes that offer all the comforts and necessities of home on a much smaller scale. Downsizing has become a buzzword as we throw off the shackles of 'too much stuff.' Why not go all the way and find yourself a tiny house!

Here are some books to inspire you, and in the spirit of the tiny house, many are available as eBooks, so you can keep your research library on your electronic reader!
