Indie Author Day 2017Join us for Indie Author Day on Saturday, October 14, from 10 am – 3 pm at the KCLS Service Center.

Whether you're a new writer with dreams of publishing your first book, a seasoned author looking to find a new audience, or a reader hoping to discover a new favorite book, Indie Author Day is for you! Indie Author Day celebrates self-published and independently published books and authors and offers a chance for writers and readers alike to learn more about the exciting and complex world of self-publishing. 

At 11, Jenni Conner and D.V. Berkom discuss Conception without Deception: The Birth of Your Story Without the Pitfalls. At noon, Pam Stucky confronts a common challenge in Fear, Failure, and the Fallacy of Writer's Block: Getting Out of Your Own Way. At 1, Rachel Barnard will talk about how to celebrate a new book in New Book Release Checklist: Planning a Fun and Inviting Launch.

In addition to the presentations, twenty authors will be in attendance to share their books, their self-publishing or indie publishing experiences, and their tips and tricks for marketing and promotion.
