First-time users can start with "Guest Access." Once you pick a language to explore, you can take a placement test. The "Hello, guest! Log in" option at the upper left of your computer screen will allow you to create an account linked to your e-mail. You can save your progress and continue to work at your own speed.

Several years ago, before easy, interactive language learning software was readily available, I went to Brazil to visit my cousins. They had a beautiful new dog. "Oh," I said many, many times, "what a good dog." That is, "Aye, que bom correio." Unfortunately for me, the word for dog is cachorro. Um correio is, in fact, a post office.
