Don't just recycle cardboard boxes -- play with them!
You can get together online with friends and host a Cardboard Challenge using resources from the Imagination Foundation.
If you don't have cardboard boxes at home, you can often pick them up for free from grocery stores. Don't forget that cereal boxes and shoeboxes can work just as well as big packing boxes.
Share your creations and check out what others have made by using the hashtag #cardboardchallenge on social media.
You can use this list to find great books that will inspire kids to build, create, and imagine with the help of cardboard boxes.
