You have the power to succeed in business with help from various free resources for entrepreneurs. Check out KCLS's Small Business Resources to connect you in person and online, to the people and information you need with our library resources. The following list includes websites that are helpful for businesses and fundraising that you don't need a library card to use.

Bellevue Entrepreneur Center

This division of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce provides direction and resources for small and startup businesses. Consulting by appointments for all businesses on the Eastside.

Business Impact NW 

Help for Washington State entrepreneurs start, grow, and finance their businesses through technical assistance, training, and loans. sign up online for free Small Business Coaching program appointments at KCLS branches.

Consulting and Business Development Center, Foster School of Business (UW) 

Business consulting programs ranging in length from 1-week to 9-months. During the program, students and professional mentors work side-by-side with business owners on projects aimed at improving the bottom line and stimulating new growth. 

Seattle SCORE

Free one-on-one business counseling and workshops to help clients grow or start a business. Make an appointment to meet with an experienced business professional at selected KCLS branches. Search Online Library for business resources on eGuides, blog posts, checklists, and more.  

Small Business Assistance Center, Green River College

Help for any business, at any stage, in any industry. Offers no cost, one-on-one advising and low-cost business education: assessment, referral services, counseling, and hands-on training for small business in South King County and North Pierce County areas. 

Small Business Development Center, Highline College

One-on-One counseling and business research for business owners and entrepreneurs throughout southwest King County.

Business development training and support on focusing on women, people of color, immigrants, and individuals with low-income.
