The Fairwood Temporary Location will close on Wednesday, December 3 at 7pm. No library services or book return will be available at the temporary location after this time.
Holds ready for pickup when the temporary location closes will be moved to the Fairwood Library and will continue to be ready for pickup after opening on December 6. For full library services during the closure, please visit another nearby KCLS library.

1964: Vista Library opens in the Cascade-Spring Glen Community Club at 11635 SE 170th Place
1967: KCLS purchases the building and the Club donates $10,000 for remodeling
1969: The Carriage Lane Garden Club donates landscaping services
1980: Library proposition approval funds new library construction
1986: Opening of a new 15,000-square-foot Fairwood Library
1996: Reciprocal agreement between KCLS and the Renton Public Library goes into effect
2010: KCLS annexation
