Project Details

A 14,000-square-foot expansion of the Shoreline Library parking lot was completed in October 2007 as part of the $172 million library Capital Bond.

The project expanded the surface parking to the west of the existing library, after three residential properties were acquired and demolished. With 36 new parking spaces, there are now a total of 118 parking stalls in both the new and existing parking lots.

Other site enhancements include improved pedestrian circulation, landscaping and decorative art panels installed on the retaining wall that borders 175th Street.
